Dr. Emma Gashinsky was the Olamot Visiting Scholar in Spring 2020. She specializes in the intersection of Jewish and Israeli Identity through the lens of visual representations. Her research focuses on transculturalism, migration and Diasporic heritage in contemporary Israeli culture.

Dr. Vered Sakal was the 2021-2023 Melanie and Andrew Goodman Postdoctoral Fellow. Dr. Sakal's research focuses on religious responses to modern theoretical and political environments.

Dr. Tamir Karkason was the Olamot Visiting Scholar in Spring 2019. Dr. Karkason's research focuses on the Jewish enlightenment movement in the Ottoman Empire.
Past Visiting Scholar, Spring 2018
Jeffery Green was the Olamot visiting scholar and translator-in-residence in Spring 2018. He has translated more than a dozen novels by the late Aharon Appelfeld, as well as works by other major Israeli writers.
